Alisha Sarginger is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who graduated from Northcentral University 2021. As a therapist, Alisha is inspired by her role in supporting her clients through the process of becoming their most authentic and ideal selves. She is passionate in her belief that we should all be afforded the opportunity to love the lives we lead.

Alisha specializes in working with couples that have experienced betrayals using the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy to assist her clients in cultivating new skills required to heal and foster the relationship. The Gottman Relationship Check-up is essential to her assessment process with couples. Alisha has completed all three levels of Gottman Training to include their 'Trauma After an Affair’ workshop. She is currently completing certification in using Dialectical Behavior Therapy with couples.

Alisha is working towards a PhD in Couple’s Therapy while continuing as an active duty military member for the last 16 years. Her military service has given her the opportunity to receive training and experiences that have broadened her education in many ways: she has participated in leadership and communication courses; team-building courses; and training with Air Force Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Teams.

Alisha works with individual adults, youth ages 8 and older, teens and families. Her individual therapy work focuses on recovery from anxiety, depression, grief, and challenging life transitions. She utilizes interventions such as narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and a solution-focused approach to improve her clients’ coping skills, ability to regulate their emotions, and make behavioral change.

When she is not working, Alisha enjoys spending her free time with her family and pup running, hiking, and traveling.
