David Barringer is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who graduated with his Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University.

David enjoys working with adolescents, individual adults, couples, and families who are seeking to improve their mental and relational health. He specializes in working with individuals treating concerns related to anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, grief, emotional/physical/sexual abuse, and domestic violence.

When working with couples and families he aims to create safe and secure connections. His therapeutic approach leans on the principles of Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) which highlights the idea that every person is unique and that we all possess the tools we need to make the desired changes within our lives. This multi-faceted approach to therapy is aimed at promoting hope, resiliency, recovery, and to ultimately help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.

David believes that therapy can come in many forms and a few of his own favorite therapeutic activities are hiking, snowboarding, painting, gym time, and spending time with his wife and young daughter. David has also proudly served as an officer in the United States Air Force Reserves for the past nine years and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington.
